In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Conduct health evaluations in the homes of members

• Travel predominantly up to 100% of the time within a specified coverage area

• Perform visits lasting approximately 45 minutes, which include reviews of medication, medical history, and physical evaluations

• Execute additional diagnostic tests as ordered, such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density screenings

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each assessment

• Facilitate virtual visits as required

• Provide Signify Health services, encompassing Diagnostic & Preventive Services products

• Foster trusted relationships to enhance health outcomes

• Make referrals to health plans and promote the involvement of loved ones when suitable

• Inform primary care physicians about the members’ health status and quality of life

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) in the designated coverage area(s)

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage area as needed

• Must be comfortable and safe performing duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants

• Must be adaptable to travel locally and within licensed states

• MD or DO degree required

• Expected weekly hours: 40
