
In-Home Traveler Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Conduct In-Home Health Assessments at the residences of members
• Travel predominantly, up to 100% of the time, within a specified coverage area
• Interact with individuals and cultivate trusted relationships to enhance health outcomes
• Carry out visits lasting approximately 45 minutes
• Assess medications and review medical histories
• Execute physical evaluations
• Administer additional diagnostic tests as warranted, such as diabetic eye exams and spirometry
• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each assessment
• Conduct virtual consultations as necessary
• Offer Diagnostic & Preventive Services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings
• Refer members to health plans and promote the involvement of family members
• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about members’ health and quality of life
• Remain adaptable for local and multi-state travel, which may include potential overnight stays, car rentals, and flights
• Valid, unrestricted license(s) in relevant coverage area(s)
• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the designated coverage area, as necessary
• Must be able to comfortably and safely perform tasks in homes that may have pets, secondhand smoke, and other possible airborne allergens or irritants
• Ability to travel locally and within licensed states
• MD or DO credentials
