In-Home Traveler Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct health evaluations in the homes of members.

• Travel mainly within a designated coverage area, potentially up to 100% of the time.

• Establish trustworthy relationships and assist in enhancing health outcomes.

• Perform visits lasting approximately 45 minutes.

• Review patients' medication and medical history.

• Execute physical evaluations.

• Carry out additional diagnostic tests as requested by the health plan, including diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and an intuitive clinical workflow for each evaluation.

• Refrain from prescribing medications, ordering lab tests, or modifying existing treatment plans.

• Visit individuals nationwide and link them to suitable care.

• Offer Signify Health services, including Diagnostic & Preventive Services products such as spirometry, DEE, and bone density screening.

• Conduct virtual visits as necessary.

• Primarily work in the private residences of health plan members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license(s) in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Board certification is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain and maintain multi-state licenses in the required coverage area.

• Capable of covering all counties within the state and flexible enough to assist in other business needs.

• Qualifications as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

• Comfortable and safe performing duties in homes that may feature household pets, secondhand smoke, and other potential airborne allergens or irritants.

• Willing and able to travel locally and within licensed states, potentially up to 100% of the time.

• Able to accommodate overnight hotel stays, car rentals, and/or flights as necessary.

• Capable of conducting virtual visits as required.
