Import Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Process and integrate customer data to facilitate the movement of goods across international borders.

• Prepare customs documentation, including bonds, bills, classification/release documents, reports, and OGA paperwork.

• Generate documentation necessary for the release of import consolidations from carriers.

• Manage turnover documents for other brokers, internal transfers, and in-bond movements.

• Oversee turnover documentation related to other brokers, internal transfers, and in-bond movements.

• Handle confidential information with discretion.

• Participate in cross-training for additional tasks.

• Execute other responsibilities as delegated by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Recent experience in Customs Brokerage.

• Prior experience in entering data.

• May need to successfully complete CFR49 Dangerous Goods, CFR 15 Export Regulation, and IMDG Dangerous Goods courses within a year.

• Certified Customs Brokerage Certification is preferred.

• Prior EDI experience is preferred.

• Previous experience with PGA is preferred.

• Availability Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
