Implementation Specialist – Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in discovery sessions facilitated by a Project Manager to gather customer requirements.

• Install and set up Square 9 software in a Windows Server / IIS environment.

• Establish and configure solution databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Server.

• Tailor solutions using built-in tools (coding is not necessary).

• Set up document capture workflows for scanners, multifunction printers (MFPs), and email servers.

• Provide project updates through project management software.

• Help document system configurations.

• Observe senior specialists to enhance skills across the product suite.

⛳️ Requirements

• Early-career IT professional with 0–3 years of experience in help desk, support, systems, or software implementation.

• Familiar with working in Windows environments and basic networking concepts.

• Knowledgeable about databases (SQL Server preferred).

• Excellent communication skills with strong organizational abilities.

• Inquisitive, eager to learn, and capable of adhering to structured processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Exposure to IIS, Windows Server, or web services.

• Basic understanding of SQL.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, or Google Workspace.

• Familiarity with ECM/EDM solutions.

• Experience with ActiveCollab or similar project management tools.

• Occasional travel may be required, though it is infrequent.

• A suitable home office environment is necessary.
