Implementation Specialist, EHR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee several simultaneous EHR implementations from the signing of the contract through to go-live and stabilization.

• Serve as the primary project leader for managing timelines, milestones, risks, and communication with stakeholders.

• Set up customer environments, which includes configuring roles, permissions, security settings, forms, templates, workflows, and operational parameters.

• Convert clinical, operational, and billing workflows into adaptable system configurations.

• Facilitate implementation workshops with teams across clinical, medical, operations, intake, scheduling, and revenue cycle departments.

• Oversee data migration, system validation, user acceptance testing, and readiness for go-live.

• Provide training for administrators, super users, and frontline personnel.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address gaps and enhance implementation procedures.

• Maintain internal communication throughout the implementation process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in EHR implementation.

• Proven experience in implementing EHR, practice management, healthcare operations, or other intricate workflow-driven platforms.

• Proficiency in configuring systems, rather than solely managing projects.

• Demonstrated experience in building forms, workflows, permissions, templates, user roles, and operational settings.

• Experience in supporting enterprise deployments with more than 100 users.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking real ownership and exercising autonomy.

• Skilled in managing client expectations across multiple concurrent accounts.

• Experience in behavioral health is a plus.

• Familiarity with migrating clients from legacy EHR systems is a plus.

• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability, EDI, claims, eligibility, or payer workflows is a plus.

• Must have authorization to work in the US.
