Implementation Project Manager – Spanish Preferred

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of 20–25 concurrent projects of standard to complex nature, with implementation timelines ranging from 4 to 16 weeks.

• Take ownership of and drive the complete execution of project plans for medium to high size and complexity engagements led by Workiva.

• Act as the main point of contact for both customers and internal project teams.

• Ensure stakeholder communication is clear, concise, and timely.

• Manage project plans, status updates, risk logs, and budgets effectively.

• Monitor and address project-level risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.

• Assist in resolving customer escalations with guidance from leadership as needed.

• Facilitate standard project change requests and manage expectations within the project scope.

• Share best practices, lessons learned, and foundational knowledge with the project team or functional group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in project management.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred at a business level.

• Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred.

• Possession of a PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred or highly desirable.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven experience in independently managing stakeholders and addressing customer escalations.

• Strong commercial acumen related to complex scopes, budgets, and multi-party delivery models.

• Capability to independently manage a fast-paced project portfolio and the full lifecycle of assigned projects.

• Ability to gain the trust of sponsors and stakeholders and navigate project-level conflicts effectively.

• Competency in navigating ambiguity across various project types, solution areas, and support requirements.

• Proficiency in applying implementation methodologies, such as Workiva methodology.

• Familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet and Jira.

• Understanding of Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
