Implementation Project Manager – Mortgage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive delivery of MeridianLink Mortgage LOS, POS, and core banking system integration implementations for both new and existing clients.

• Oversee implementations from project initiation through testing, go-live, and transition to support.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

• Strategically plan projects, managing customer communications, risks, escalations, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and objectives.

• Assess project scope defined by contractual agreements and manage implementation tasks against established timelines.

• Foster accountability among customers and MeridianLink project resources.

• Schedule and facilitate milestone meetings, which include project kick-off, project charter review, and project closure.

• Develop and uphold project plans, resource allocations, milestones, and timelines using approved tools, including Smartsheet.

• Monitor deliverables, action items, dependencies, and readiness activities.

• Coordinate the resolution of escalations with cross-functional resources and leadership.

• Align project activities with Implementation Analysts and other cross-functional MeridianLink resources.

• Track implementation-related cases and project administration in approved systems, including Salesforce.

• Provide regular updates on project status, portfolio health, and escalation to Services Program Management.

• Maintain project management procedures, templates, and operational documentation while recommending process enhancements.

• Report to the Manager of Services Program Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to manage multiple complex implementation projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

• Demonstrated skill in managing customer expectations, facilitating change management, identifying and communicating project risks, and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to keep accurate project plans, documentation, action items, and status reporting across multiple concurrent projects.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment, adapting to changing priorities, project demands, and business requirements.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in leading enterprise software deployments (preferred).

• Experience with enterprise project management tools; familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred.

• Knowledge of the mortgage industry, mortgage origination software, or financial technology solutions is a significant advantage but not mandatory.

• Experience with integrating AI-powered tools, such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot, into project management, customer communication, documentation, or operational workflows is a plus.

• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, credit check, and drug test as part of the hiring process.
