Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the schedule, milestones, and client relationships for North American implementations.

• Oversee projects from start to finish, guiding them from intake through to the handover phase.

• Initiate new US projects by verifying sizing and category, establishing the baseline plan, and ensuring offshore configuration capacity.

• Monitor schedules and milestones against the baseline, identify delays, and adjust plans as necessary.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding timelines, sequencing, and deliverables from the client side.

• Collaborate with the offshore configuration team on assigned US builds.

• Document, assess, and manage scope changes.

• Proactively identify and escalate project risks at an early stage.

• Lead projects to completion, ensuring issues are resolved, support teams are informed, and documentation is finalized.

• Work with the international project office on methodologies while managing local US priorities and workloads.

• Achieve billable utilization targets along with delivery metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing software implementation projects with external clients, responsible for both scheduling and client relations.

• Proven experience with multi-site or phased rollouts.

• Ability to hold clients accountable to commitments and convey challenging news promptly.

• Experience in achieving a billable utilization target while managing delivery tasks.

• Must be based in the United States.

• Willingness to travel to client locations across North America.

• Preferred: PMP or similar certification.

• Preferred: Experience managing projects with a build team located in a different country or time zone.

• Preferred: Background in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution industries.

• Preferred: Experience with ERP implementations, especially SYSPRO.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Project Operations or comparable PSA tools.
