
Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take charge of and manage the implementation process from customer signature through to go-live, hypercare, and ongoing operations.
• Oversee 2-4 concurrent implementations across various tracks.
• Develop and execute implementation plans, addressing resourcing, dependencies, and risks.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders from customer project teams and executives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional Gridsight teams in Customer Data, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Act as a liaison with the customer project lead and engage subject matter experts from the customer side.
• Represent the Gridsight product and technology stack to advise customers and shield Product Squads from disruptions.
• Manage scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, customer obligations, and critical paths.
• Maintain project status, predict go-live timelines and assess risks, while communicating with internal teams and customers.
• Handle changes in scope, data, and timelines; re-plan, re-establish baselines, and drive decision-making.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers through steering committees, working groups, and executive updates.
• Set clear expectations, communicate plans, identify issues, and drive customer approvals and commitments.
• Ensure a smooth transition to Customer Success at go-live.
• Contribute implementation insights to enhance templates, tools, processes, and communications.
• Identify recurring challenges that may benefit from product, tooling, or automation enhancements.
• Utilize, refine, or create methodologies, playbooks, and standards.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple, 7-figure enterprise-grade projects, implementations, or integrations from start to finish with accountability for outcomes.
• Experience coordinating a team of resources, frequently distributed across Australia.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and execute efficiently, focusing on what truly matters.
• Thoughtful and structured relationship management skills that foster rapport with customers, from project teams to senior executives.
• Emotional intelligence to hold customers accountable and navigate difficult discussions.
• Technical fluency to learn, comprehend, and represent our platform and technology stack.
• Capability to provide credible guidance regarding data, integrations, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity within a rapidly growing company where processes are continuously developed and refined.
• Experience in the energy, utilities, or grid domain is a plus.
• Familiarity with utility data platforms.
• Experience in a scaling startup environment.
