Implementation Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical execution for intricate or critical onboarding projects, which include enterprise implementations utilizing MDM, SCIM, SSO, and ActivConnect.

• Act as the escalation point for Level I, managing incoming technical issues and directing unresolved concerns to Solutions or Engineering with comprehensive documentation.

• Assist customers in MDM-based agent deployment through Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE, Kandji, and Hexnode, including PPPC/TCC setup on Mac devices.

• Facilitate ActivConnect implementation, encompassing BigQuery, Analytics Hub, and custom data connection scoping.

• Employ PowerShell, Bash, or comparable scripting languages for deployment automation, diagnostics, or environment validation.

• Create and update technical runbooks, escalation procedures, and deployment guides.

• Recognize persistent technical challenges and highlight product deficiencies or opportunities for process enhancements.

• Lead or support numerous technical enablement sessions on advanced subjects.

• Collaborate with CSMs and Solutions team members to assess technically complex accounts prior to the onboarding process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as implementation engineer, technical account manager, solutions engineer (post-sales), IT consultant, or a similar position.

• Practical experience with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune, Workspace ONE, or equivalent).

• Proficient understanding of macOS PPPC/TCC and enterprise Mac deployment.

• Comfortable with scripting languages, including PowerShell, Bash, or Python for diagnostics and automation purposes.

• Experience with identity and directory systems, including Azure AD / Entra ID, SCIM, SSO / SAML.

• Familiarity with data integration principles (BigQuery, Analytics Hub, or similar) is highly advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — capable of conveying technical decisions to both IT administrators and business stakeholders.

• Proven ability to assist less experienced team members through documentation, mentorship, or structured escalation processes.
