Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Convert raw utility and geospatial information into precise digital twin models of electricity infrastructure.

• Assist in the comprehensive implementation of the Neara platform for utility clients around the globe.

• Ingest and manipulate extensive datasets from LiDAR, GIS, and asset databases utilizing Neara’s schema language and configuration framework.

• Conduct thorough QA/QC processes to guarantee that digital twins accurately represent real-world physics and adhere to customer specifications.

• Create tailored reports and dashboards within the platform for utility engineers.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance processes and tools for speeding up future deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, or a similar position.

• Proficient in at least one major programming language, such as SQL or Python, with the capability to learn additional languages.

• Ability to learn and master a schema language for data manipulation and report generation.

• Strong written communication skills.

• Experience in contributing to internal knowledge bases and creating external user manuals.

• Capability to convey technical configurations clearly to varied audiences in fluent English.

• Proficient in deconstructing complex data discrepancies and systematically reconfiguring models to achieve 100% accuracy.

• A background in engineering, mathematics, software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Familiarity with GIS, CAD geoprocessing, or LiDAR data would be advantageous.
