Implementation Consultant, Payroll

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of payroll software for both new and existing clients.

• Gain an understanding of clients’ payroll processes and requirements to effectively configure the software.

• Set up SaaS products, workflows, and specific customer needs.

• Assist with payroll data migration, integration, and testing procedures.

• Work with APIs, ETL processes, and data transformation when necessary.

• Guide clients through user acceptance testing and ensure they are prepared for the go-live phase.

• Provide training and clearly communicate software functionalities to clients.

• Offer support to clients during the go-live phase and transition them into ongoing assistance.

• Manage multiple client projects and priorities concurrently.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to address issues and achieve successful results.

• Keep clients updated on progress, timelines, risks, and challenges.

• Travel to client locations as needed.

• Participate in application assessments and interviews as part of the recruitment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical payroll experience and a solid understanding of payroll processes are essential.

• Background in SaaS/software implementation, onboarding, or technical consulting.

• Experience in directly engaging with clients to comprehend their requirements and implement effective solutions.

• Familiarity with payroll software or systems.

• Knowledge of software configuration, workflows, and integrations.

• Experience with APIs, ETL, data migration, or data transformation.

• Confidence in managing multiple clients, projects, or priorities.

• Ability to articulate software and technical concepts in an easily understandable manner.

• Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms would be advantageous.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary.

• Authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
