Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute the OPS software solution for clients, ensuring that implementations align with customer expectations and uphold quality standards.

• Collaborate directly with clients and team members to enhance transit operations utilizing OPS Software.

• Conduct business analysis, in addition to gathering and documenting customer requirements.

• Examine and document customer business processes.

• Configure software solutions and interpret union contracts and business rules for appropriate software settings.

• Partner closely with clients, Project Managers, and the Professional Services team to deliver operational solutions with efficiency and effectiveness.

• Cultivate client relationships while establishing credibility and trust.

• Communicate software and project updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Oversee multiple projects, timelines, shifting priorities, and problem resolution with minimal supervision.

• Develop training materials and provide training to end users or subject matter experts.

• Assist with customer testing, monitor issues, and ensure prompt resolution.

• Create and continuously enhance implementation templates and project documentation.

• Deliver high-quality project outcomes and exceptional customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in a customer-facing role within technical software support.

• A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma related to the information technology field is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% within North America.

• Proficiency in working with MS SQL and Oracle databases, including the ability to write queries for data extraction.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong consulting and business analysis capabilities.

• Solid software configuration skills, with the ability to utilize system logging to identify issues.

• Prior experience in implementing or testing configurable software solutions.

• Excellent command of written English, demonstrating the ability to produce high-quality documentation.

• Outstanding communication and active listening skills.

• Familiarity with all Windows platforms, including Windows 7 and Windows 10.

• Experience with web-based service architecture.

• Previous knowledge or experience in the transit industry.
