Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the initial technical implementation of technology products following a sale.

• Execute installations, upgrades, testing, and system configurations to successfully deliver implementation projects.

• Provide guidance to customers on analyzing and assessing operational requirements while understanding their business goals.

• Monitor the progress of implementation projects, ensuring deadlines are achieved and addressing scheduling challenges.

• Keep customers and stakeholders updated on the status of projects.

• Implement, test, and adjust data rules as necessary.

• Operate with moderate supervision while making independent decisions.

• Assist in the investigation, scoping, diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up of change events.

• Contribute to the creation of standardized solutions for customers.

• Forward events to the relevant teams as needed.

• Manage support cases that necessitate partner involvement, acting as the liaison between customers and the partner network.

• Collaborate directly with third-party providers, consultants, VARs, and adapter or application providers.

• Take responsibility for complex tasks that are critical to the organization.

• Maintain expertise in the industry and stay informed about new products and technical advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable practical qualification.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.

• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and concurrent activities effectively.

• Competence in applying, testing, and reconfiguring data rules.

• Proven ability to work with minimal onboarding or supervision, demonstrating initiative and prioritization skills.

• Strong relationship-building abilities, particularly over the phone.

• Experience with third-party providers, consultants, VARs, or adapter and application providers is preferred.

• Familiarity with XML.

• Experience using word-processing and data-mapping tools, along with a solid understanding of mapping-tool functionality.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

• A well-rounded skill set: capable of driving initiatives and facilitating processes, as well as being a tactical leader and hands-on contributor.
