Implementation Consultant, APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Conduct project requirements gathering to guide project planning efforts.

• Establish project responsibilities and ensure stakeholder accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop project charter documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare schedules and allocate resources for the project.

• Identify potential project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate project communication plans and provide status updates.

• Manage expectations of both clients and internal resources.

• Create and sustain documentation for project deliverables.

• Collaborate with leadership for resource allocation.

• Work with subject matter experts and escalation points to eliminate blockers and mitigate risks.

• Oversee service delivery that involves third-party vendors.

• Manage modifications to project scope, schedule, and costs in line with change management protocols.

• Implement project controls to guarantee timely and budget-compliant professional services delivery.

• Develop and maintain project plans and templates within project management tools.

• Secure customer acceptance for project deliverables.

• Finalize project documentation and lead internal retrospectives.

• Advise customers on SSO integrations, data integrations, roles and permissions, LTI applications, and account hierarchies for SaaS platforms.

• Guide customers through content migration from third-party learning platforms and devise migration strategies.

• Identify and design AI use cases to enhance customer value and internal efficiency.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations and implementation systems.

• Provide advice on JavaScript and CSS customization of Instructure products.

• Define and recommend technical solutions by gathering both technical and functional requirements.

• Assist customers in leveraging Instructure product APIs.

• Adapt communication strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Research client needs to facilitate service customization, consulting expansion, and enhanced customer experience.

• Identify any additional support, training, or consulting requirements.

• Engage in team projects that support collective goals and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to manage external stakeholders confidently and effectively for project delivery.

• Experience in designing, documenting, and communicating technical solutions within ecosystems incorporating SaaS applications.

• Familiarity with various identity provider authentication systems.

• Experience with APIs and a solid understanding of their role in integrating multiple applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on timelines and business value.

• Proficiency in using web conferencing technologies and web-based tools such as Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Calendar.

• Experience with one or more programming languages is preferred as exceptional experience.

• Working knowledge of technology deployment strategies and best practices, particularly in an educational context, is preferred as exceptional experience.

• Experience in creating custom reports and data visualizations, as well as assisting customers in interpreting their data, is preferred as exceptional experience.

• Must successfully pass a background check.
