Implementation Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete solution architecture and technical design for enterprise deployments of Veradigm Payer Analytics and Risk Adjustment solutions.

• Collaborate with health plan and at-risk provider clients to gather and convert business, regulatory, and data requirements into technical implementation strategies.

• Provide guidance to clients on risk adjustment methodologies, submission timelines, and data requirements pertaining to Medicaid, Medicare, and ACA marketplace programs.

• Design and manage data integration strategies across source systems, EHRs, and the Veradigm Network utilizing HL7 FHIR, CCDA, EDI, and eChart Integration and Analytics.

• Create client data onboarding strategies for claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, encounter, and supplemental healthcare data.

• Develop data mappings, transformation needs, and integration methods across client and third-party data sources.

• Oversee data quality frameworks, including validation, reconciliation, and exception-handling procedures.

• Lead root cause analysis and remediation of data issues during onboarding, configuration, and validation processes.

• Architect the configuration of quality and risk adjustment analytics engines, coding workflows, and Provider Engagement Solutions.

• Act as the escalation point and technical authority for intricate implementation challenges.

• Provide implementation roadmaps, risk assessments, and strategies for mitigation.

• Mentor Implementation Architects and Consultants.

• Work collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, and Data teams on roadmap decisions, technical designs, and testing strategies.

• Assess implementation tradeoffs and technical risks throughout the development lifecycle.

• Create implementation documentation, configuration standards, and reusable assets.

• Assist pre-sales and scoping efforts with technical feasibility, effort estimates, and implementation guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical/business experience is required.

• Over 10 years of relevant work experience.

• Profound functional and technical knowledge in health plan risk adjustment (CMS-HCC, HHS-HCC) and quality analytics (HEDIS, Star Ratings, QRS, PQA) methodologies and regulatory criteria.

• Proven experience in Medicaid, Medicare (including Medicare Advantage), and ACA marketplace lines of business.

• Advanced understanding of HL7 FHIR, CCDA, EDI transactions, and clinical data exchange across EHR platforms.

• Capability to architect complex, scalable technical solutions across multiple concurrent client engagements.

• Advanced SQL and database skills.

• Extensive hands-on experience with healthcare claims, eligibility, provider, encounter, clinical, and supplemental datasets.

• Experience in designing or supervising ETL/ELT processes and healthcare data pipeline architecture.

• Exceptional client-facing communication and consulting abilities.

• Demonstrated project and program leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently in unclear, high-complexity situations.

• Experience in mentoring and developing junior implementation staff.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
