Implementation Analyst, Deltek Vantagepoint

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines from legacy systems into Deltek Vantagepoint.

• Set up, map, and perform data loads utilizing the native Vantagepoint Data Import Utility.

• Review, clean, and reconcile intricate relational datasets.

• Develop validation scripts to confirm post-migration financial balances and project histories.

• Align legacy system workflows with optimal architectures in Vantagepoint.

• Uphold data governance and security protocols.

• Identify and resolve issues related to reconciliation, data truncation, mapping errors, orphaned data, and schema inconsistencies during both staging and production phases.

• Transfer historical financial, project, and CRM data from legacy systems into the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system.

• Act as the main subject matter expert for the Vantagepoint Data Import Utility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of hands-on experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or advanced Deltek Vision backend architecture and data schemas.

• High-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Profiler, SSRS, Excel, ODBC, and complex SQL scripting.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering at least one complete ERP data migration lifecycle using the Vantagepoint/Vision Data Import Utility.

• Knowledge of project-based accounting, work breakdown structures (WBS), billing, revenue, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP).

• Capability to independently manage and execute large-scale data projects in a fully remote setting.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience with Axium, Sage, or QuickBooks datasets and/or application/reporting.

• Preferred: More than 1 year of direct experience in designing, developing, and publishing reports using Business Intelligence Design Studio (BIDS).
