📋 Description

• Deliver group and/or individual clinical services to clients mandated by the Court or RMV to fulfill the driver alcohol education program.

• Conduct initial comprehensive assessments for adult program admission, as well as mid-point evaluations and exit interviews.

• Engage in continuous curriculum development.

• Provide necessary documentation and consultation with probation officers, courts, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

• Assist participants in recognizing, articulating, and progressing towards their recovery goals while minimizing the risk of recidivism.

• Help individuals in establishing and executing treatment and recovery objectives for substance use and co-occurring disorders.

• Evaluate participant needs, pinpoint stressors and behavior patterns, discuss obstacles, and foster personal development and self-efficacy.

• Collaborate effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Educate, support, and empower participants by providing information on community resources, recovery support, and self-help groups.

• Stay updated on recovery-oriented practices through training, webinars, and professional development opportunities.

• Complete all required documentation and administrative duties, promptly report crises or incidents, and promote respect for each individual’s cultural identity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates MUST reside in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Maine, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field OR possess independent licensure.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in substance use disorder treatment and recovery, including familiarity with addiction services and local resources.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
