This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Achieve or surpass sales and expense objectives for the territory by formulating and executing strategies tailored to the area.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.
• Stay updated on company offerings and relevant medical conditions.
• Create and implement a Territory Business Plan, including call strategies and preparation for sales interactions.
• Design and execute territory initiatives like speakers’ bureau programs and symposia.
• Establish and keep comprehensive customer records.
• Complete all administrative responsibilities with accuracy and punctuality.
• Provide effective, current, and precise sales presentations to clients.
• Maintain a professional sales demeanor in all business interactions.
• Manage the designated sales territory in accordance with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and corporate policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Nephrology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years’ experience or over 7 years of demonstrated success in pharmaceutical or equivalent industry experience in Nephrology.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Strong skills in clinical selling.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical data, products, adjunctive therapies, disease states, markets, and clientele.
• Preferred experience within the territory and familiarity with customers.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas is a plus.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Willingness to travel locally; some overnight travel may be necessary.
• Capability to attend regional and national conferences.
• Ability to operate in accordance with relevant regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Competencies in selling, clinical knowledge, business acumen, communication, teamwork, and resource management.
