Imaging Service Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on imaging systems within the designated service area.

• Execute unscheduled maintenance with the assistance of technical support.

• Install and uninstall products and peripheral equipment as needed.

• Foster effective relationships and communication with field staff, home office personnel, management, and clients.

• Address issues and customer inquiries; perform root cause analysis to resolve service delivery challenges.

• Complete expense reports, timecards, work orders, service appointments, parts inventory records, training documentation, and QA/RA tasks.

• Manage customer service orders and internal service documentation in accordance with company policies.

• Engage with customers daily to ensure issues are resolved and follow-ups are conducted.

• Accurately and promptly complete all administrative tasks and paperwork.

• Maintain assigned tools, testing equipment, and spare parts; ensure parts are returned within specified timelines.

• Enhance the company's image and reputation.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Area Service Manager.

• Travel up to 100%, including overnight and airline travel, as dictated by business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science, or equivalent experience.

• At least one year of prior field service experience.

• Knowledge of assigned equipment to ensure timely repairs and efficient maintenance.

• Strong active listening skills and exceptional customer service abilities.

• Sound organizational and administrative skills; a self-starter capable of maintaining paperwork in compliance with FDA and company standards.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills; adept at conveying technical information in a comprehensible manner.

• Proficient in operating testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and diagnostic testers.

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Dependable and capable of working independently.

• Professional appearance.

• Ability to work in medical and clinical environments, including construction sites.

• Capacity to work in high magnetic fields of up to 3 Tesla.

• Willingness to work irregular hours, overtime, and travel as necessary.

• Must adhere to vendor credentialing requirements for access to hospitals and facilities.

• Must comply with applicable U.S. FDA, ISO 13485, laws, regulations, and standards.
