Imaging Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on imaging equipment.

• Oversee, inspect, and repair imaging equipment for customer accounts.

• Provide service to client imaging locations in Long Island, NYC, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Staten Island.

• Execute scheduled maintenance and operation verification procedures on complex medical imaging devices.

• Repair, install, and calibrate advanced medical imaging equipment devices and systems.

• Update managers regarding repair status, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment issues, and customer concerns.

• Monitor inventory status and maintain a stock of common failure parts to guarantee equipment uptime.

• Supervise and document the activities of subcontractors, vendors, and external service technicians.

• Deliver precise service reporting and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the CT or MRI modality is required.

• Proficient experience with MRI, CT, and X-ray is essential.

• Experience with multiple modalities is preferred.

• A.S. Degree from an accredited institution in electronics, or DOD certification, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience working with Diagnostic Imaging Medical Equipment.

• Experience in medical facilities, demonstrating a professional demeanor.

• Ability to perform tasks in an organized and efficient manner while complying with medical facility policies.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.

• Must be open to travel for work.
