This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and provide support for Sectra PACS environments, encompassing configuration, user management, workflow enhancement, and system monitoring.
• Oversee critical results reporting workflows utilizing Primordial.
• Manage and troubleshoot PowerScribe 360, focusing on user profiles, templates, speech recognition efficacy, and interface connections.
• Support cardiology imaging applications, which include CVIS, echocardiography systems, modality workstations, and structured reporting tools.
• Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and data integrity across various imaging platforms.
• Analyze workflows in radiology and cardiology to identify areas for improvement and decrease turnaround times.
• Collaborate with departmental leadership and technologists concerning modality connectivity and exam lifecycle management.
• Maintain system dictionaries, protocol settings, and configuration standards.
• Support DICOM configuration and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces and integrations with EMR and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate software updates, patches, and maintenance activities with vendors and internal IS teams.
• Ensure functionality of modality worklists and troubleshoot issues related to acquisition, routing, and image storage.
• Ensure that imaging systems comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, including ACR, Joint Commission, and HIPAA.
• Maintain audit logs, conduct user access reviews, and enforce data retention policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and downtime planning.
• Provide training and support for radiologists, technologists, cardiologists, and clinical staff.
• Develop documentation, quick reference guides, and communications regarding system changes, downtime, and new features.
• Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical support groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Imaging Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in imaging informatics or PACS administration within a healthcare setting.
• Practical experience with Sectra PACS.
• Practical experience with Primordial (Critical Results Management).
• Practical experience with PowerScribe 360 (PS360).
• Practical experience with cardiology imaging systems, including CVIS, echocardiography, cath lab, and structured reporting applications.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, imaging modalities, and clinical imaging workflows.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 25% of the time.
• Must successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
