ILM Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Serve as the owner representative on behalf of the client.

• Assist the client in the Investment Lifecycle Management governance process for the evaluation and approval of capital projects and leases.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure preparedness for monthly governance meetings.

• Review and revise capital authorization requests as needed.

• Work alongside capital and lease project teams to ensure they are ready for monthly project review and governance meetings.

• Draft clear, executive-ready written communications for capital governance committees.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with project teams to guarantee concise, accurate, and comprehensive capital authorization requests.

• Identify and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, including process simplification, streamlining, and automation, to decrease ILM duration and enhance efficiency.

• Update Investment Lifecycle Management guidelines and related training materials.

• Familiarize yourself with ILM-related Global Finance Policies and Procedures to provide guidance to project teams and ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with Engineering Technical Authority, Project Management, Facilities Management, Site Engineering, Capital Finance, and Property Accounting teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven skills in construction project delivery in a Project Manager or Project Controls Manager capacity.

• Familiarity with Capital Planning and Capital Project Approvals processes.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities across various organizational levels.

• Capability to advance actions on multiple fronts with various cross-functional project teams.

• Demonstrated tenacity and adaptability.

• Proficiency in digital tools and AI.

• Experience in Portfolio Management is preferred.

• Previous experience working for a client organization in the relevant areas is preferred.

• Experience in the pharma/biotech sector is preferred.
