This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance and training for products and services related to Job Order Contracting (JOC) for clients within a designated geographic area.

• Develop and maintain schedules of detailed activities to meet procurement goals within established timelines.

• Implement and follow project procedures from project identification through scope-of-work development and review, proposal assessment, contract compliance, notice to proceed, and execution of construction for Job Orders.

• Interpret and comprehend construction plans and specifications.

• Conduct thorough reviews of price proposals.

• Create and evaluate detailed construction line-item proposals.

• Educate contractors on Gordian software and client protocols.

• Support clients during the contract bidding process.

• Coordinate with clients and internal team members to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in construction procurement, construction management, or general contracting, with a preference for experience in both facilities and road construction.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in commercial public construction operations, including pricing, contracting, scope development, and estimating/price proposal creation.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of effectively managing multiple projects both in development and in the field concurrently.

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and team-building capabilities.

• Adaptable, strategic thinker with problem-solving skills, goal-oriented, client-focused, capable of delivering results, meeting client and corporate deadlines, and possessing excellent time management skills; self-motivated and able to work well both independently and in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Ability to create and generate custom tracking documents and reports.

• Background in construction documentation and administration is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with Job Order Contracting or IDIQ is necessary.

• Comprehensive understanding of various public procurement and project delivery methods and their requirements.

• Willingness to travel 30–50% of the time.
