Identity Provider Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute identity-based access control policies in alignment with Zero Trust principles.

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and enhancement of PingFederate and PingAccess.

• Manage the complete ICAM lifecycle, which includes automated provisioning and intricate directory integrations.

• Work in conjunction with SOC and Network teams to incorporate identity signals into security monitoring and incident response processes.

• Act as a subject matter expert for integrating PingFederate with PAM, MUR, IGA, and other components of the Zero Trust ecosystem.

• Develop and sustain authentication policies, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Risk-Based Authentication (RBA).

• Offer guidance and practical training for onboarding applications into PingFederate using self-service templates, OIDC, and SAML.

• Ensure uniform security standards across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret Government security clearance that requires U.S. citizenship.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

• At least six (6) years of practical experience in ICAM within enterprise or government settings.

• Strong expertise with PingFederate, including OIDC, SAML, and OAuth protocols.

• Significant experience with PingAccess for safeguarding web applications and APIs at the gateway level.

• Current CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.

• Understanding of directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.

• Familiarity with NIST 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture standards.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex authentication transactions.

• U.S. work authorization without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
