This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee SSO integrations across various enterprise applications and services.
• Set up and manage identity governance workflows, account lifecycle management, and access approval processes.
• Implement and oversee MFA, conditional access policies, and identity verification methods.
• Aid in the development and enforcement of identity-based access controls in line with Zero Trust principles.
• Configure IAM roles, permissions, and policies within cloud environments, particularly AWS IAM.
• Perform access reviews, entitlement audits, and privileged access evaluations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure identity controls meet DoD security and compliance standards.
• Resolve identity-related issues connected to SSO, MFA, directory services, and authentication flows.
• Assist in planning the identity roadmap, modernization efforts, and capability advancements.
• Maintain identity standards, configuration documentation, and architectural artifacts.
• Support incident response efforts pertaining to identity threats or compromised accounts.
• Contribute to the creation and improvement of IAM procedures, playbooks, and governance frameworks.
• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance, backed by a Tier 5 background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in identity and access management, authentication engineering, or IAM operations.
• Experience in implementing or supporting SSO integrations, MFA configurations, or identity governance processes.
• Familiarity with managing IAM roles, policies, and permissions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Experience in conducting access reviews, entitlement audits, or privilege management tasks.
• Knowledge of supporting the implementation of identity-focused security controls.
• Strong grasp of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, federation, and identity governance.
• Experience with SSO technologies, MFA systems, and identity providers.
• Proficiency in AWS IAM roles, policies, access keys, and permission boundaries.
• Understanding of Zero Trust identity principles and identity-centric access control models.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements related to identity and access management.
• Security+ certification is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing authentication and access issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cybersecurity, engineering, and application teams.
• High attention to detail in managing access controls, policies, and identity workflows.
• Ability to handle multiple IAM initiatives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining identity policies, standards, and technical procedures.
• Preferred: experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD).
• Preferred: familiarity with identity risk scoring, behavioral analytics, or conditional access signals.
• Preferred: experience integrating IAM with CI/CD pipelines or DevSecOps workflows.
• Preferred: AWS IAM or AWS Security specialty certification.
• Preferred: additional DoD 8570/8140 IAM-related certifications.
