This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver subject matter expertise in telecommunications infrastructure to the client.

• Assist with Military Construction (MILCON), Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR), and USARC G-6-funded infrastructure repair initiatives.

• Evaluate and offer recommendations for Requests for Information (RFIs).

• Analyze product data, shop drawings, and test report submissions.

• Execute quality assurance inspections on ongoing construction projects.

• Provide ICT infrastructure subject matter expertise upon customer request.

• Carry out work in alignment with customer service-level expectations and approved documentation, including ARNEC, UFC manuals, NFPA codes, and ANSI/TIA standards.

• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams, contractors, and Army Reserve stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; years of experience may substitute for the degree.

• Required experience in telecommunications infrastructure.

• An active Secret clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.

• Possession of a current certification from one of the following BICSI credentialing programs: Installer 1, Installer 2 (Copper or Fiber), or Technician.

• Experience in ICT Infrastructure Quality Control/Quality Assurance inspections.

• Background in reviewing product data, shop drawings, and test report submissions.

• Proficient and comfortable using Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.

• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA-568, ANSI/TIA-569-C, ANSI/TIA-606, ANSI/TIA-607-B, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), UFC 3-580-01, and Army Reserve Network Enterprise Center Infrastructure Technical Criteria.

• Experience with Army Reserve telecommunications infrastructure is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in telecommunications infrastructure is preferred.

• An active BICSI certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
