This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the enhancement of the client's Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) program through effective leadership, structured approaches, and operational excellence.
• Act as the primary coordination hub among Product Management, Program Management, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and executive stakeholders.
• Take ownership of the team's Product Backlog.
• Convert business goals, functional requirements, and architectural designs into Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of delivery with enterprise priorities.
• Establish and reinforce an Agile delivery framework within the PMO governance model.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure that work aligns with the Definition of Ready prior to sprint planning.
• Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, blockers, sequencing issues, and their impacts.
• Coordinate stakeholder alignment regarding priorities, timelines, and scope.
• Report delivery progress and emerging risks to technical teams, management, directors, and executives.
• Assist in release planning and execution.
• Promote cooperation among Security, Identity, Infrastructure, Architecture, QA, and Product organizations.
• Develop repeatable delivery processes that enhance transparency, accountability, and execution maturity.
• Serve as a servant leader for the CIAM delivery team by eliminating obstacles and ensuring work is completed.
• Stay informed about organizational dynamics within complex, matrixed environments.
• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile software delivery settings.
• Experience in supporting IAM or CIAM initiatives.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery involving engineering, architecture, security, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate complex, highly matrixed organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, backlog management, user story refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience turning strategic initiatives into actionable tasks with Product and Program Managers.
• Capability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities, including delivering presentations to technical teams and executive leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in identifying and managing delivery risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, collaboration-centric environments with frequent meetings and shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Experience working West Coast business hours, including regular late-afternoon meetings.
• Preferred: experience in software engineering or technical leadership.
• Preferred: familiarity with PingFederate, PingOne DaVinci, or similar CIAM platforms.
• Preferred: knowledge of Azure API Management, Cosmos DB, F5/Shape, or related identity infrastructure.
• Preferred: experience with identity integrations for customer-facing or mobile applications.
• Preferred: understanding of fraud prevention, governance, and risk management solutions such as Outseer.
• Preferred: experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Preferred: familiarity with Fiserv Corillian or similar digital banking platforms.
• Preferred: ability to interpret technical architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and system integration documentation.
• Preferred: experience in implementing governance and delivery structures during Agile or PMO transformations.
• Annual salary range of $110,000-$150,000.
