IAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert design services and knowledge for Microsoft AD, Azure AD, SSO, VDS, MFA, IGA, PKI, and identity federation throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that identity and access solutions adhere to security policies and regulatory compliance standards.

• Provide technical leadership, subject matter expertise, and guidance on intricate corporate IAM initiatives.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to formulate IAM solution strategies and standards.

• Act as a technical subject matter expert, thought leader, and critical decision maker for IAM concerning infrastructure integration, cloud security, network, and platform security.

• Define and document overarching solutions, including the utilization of COTS packages.

• Assess technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Take ownership of the technical content, architecture, design, integrity, and quality of proposed solutions.

• Specify and record actions necessary to address architecture gaps that support business objectives.

• Identify emerging technologies and development tools as required.

• Evaluate available assets and reference architectures to bridge existing and future architecture gaps.

• Engage in the design, implementation, and integration of Active Directory services that support Azure, AWS, SailPoint, PingFederate, and Office 365.

• Ensure that IAM functionalities and enterprise integrations comply with security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to collaborate within a team environment on assigned tasks and multiple large-scale projects.

• Over 10 years of experience in technical IT infrastructure roles.

• More than 8 years of experience in IAM administration and design, including expertise in AD, IGA, SSO, VDS, MFA, PKI, and SAML.

• Entry to mid-level technical knowledge of Azure and AWS.

• Demonstrated success in a lead technical capacity in a large organization with various IAM service environments, encompassing AD services, LDAP, HR software interfaces, MFA, scripting, replication, certificates, performance, troubleshooting, monitoring, disaster recovery, security, and administration.

• Proficient understanding of hybrid infrastructure technologies, including ESXi, VMware Cloud, server, network, storage, load balancing, and clustering.

• Experience with principles, policies, and compliance related to enterprise infrastructure and cloud security.

• Practical experience in constructing large-scale application deployments and standard three-tier web applications.

• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, RHEL, and CentOS.

• Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience in working directly with clients in a consultative role.

• Relevant certifications such as CIST, CIAM, CISSP, or Cloud Solution Architect.
