IAM Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provision, modify, and revoke user accounts and access permissions across various applications and platforms, including mainframe, cloud, and enterprise systems.

• Execute user ID provisioning and manage access for security tools and applications.

• Capture and document security event logs related to IAM activities for review and compliance reporting.

• Review and process access requests, ensuring proper approvals and alignment with least-privilege principles.

• Assist with internal and external audit requirements by supplying evidence of access controls, user provisioning, and security event records.

• Address audit inquiries concerning IAM processes and system security.

• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing security to satisfy audit and regulatory standards.

• Engage in the planning, coordination, and implementation of IAM solutions and enhancements.

• Communicate with stakeholders to clarify access needs and resolve access-related challenges.

• Document and uphold procedures for IAM operations and access management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with IAM tools, user provisioning, and access management in enterprise settings.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational skills.

• Familiarity with audit processes, compliance frameworks, and security best practices.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Preferred: Experience with mainframe, cloud, and/or hybrid IAM environments.

• Preferred: Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) as they pertain to IAM.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Identity and Access Manager, CISSP).
