This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Perform servicing and repairs on commercial HVAC systems located in telecom shelters at cell tower sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of cooling systems.
• Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Execute additional maintenance or upgrades on off-season HVAC equipment.
• Respond quickly to service requests, including emergency situations.
• Accurately complete daily work reports within designated timelines.
• Travel extensively each day to remote job locations while working independently.
• Safely and legally operate and maintain a motor vehicle.
• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of HVAC maintenance experience is required; experience in commercial settings is preferred.
• Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
• Strong verbal and email communication skills are essential.
• Compliance with OSHA/FCC/FAA/EPA regulations is required.
• Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend service calls is necessary.
• Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
• Must live within 60 miles of Northampton, Massachusetts.
• Capability to drive to remote job sites as needed is essential.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
• Must operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and in compliance with company policies and insurance requirements.
