HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Service and repair commercial HVAC systems located at telecom shelters on cell tower sites.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of cooling systems.

• Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance on HVAC systems.

• Undertake additional maintenance or upgrades on HVAC equipment during off-seasons.

• Respond promptly to service requests, including emergency situations.

• Accurately complete daily work reports in a timely manner.

• Safely and legally operate and maintain a motor vehicle.

• Travel frequently to remote work locations while working independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Over 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance; experience in commercial settings is preferred.

• Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, particularly refrigeration systems, is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills via email.

• Adherence to OSHA, FCC, FAA, and EPA regulations.

• Must reside within 60 miles of Framingham, Massachusetts.

• Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend service calls.

• Willingness to travel extensively and drive to remote job sites.

• Capability to work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures.

• Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.

• Proficient in operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally.
