HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Service and repair commercial HVAC systems located in telecom shelters at cell tower sites.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of cooling systems.

• Conduct performance evaluations and routine maintenance on HVAC systems.

• Carry out additional maintenance or upgrades on HVAC equipment during the off-season.

• Respond swiftly to service requests, including emergency situations.

• Accurately complete daily work reports and submit them in a timely manner.

• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.

• Travel frequently to remote work locations and occasionally stay overnight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance is required.

• Basic understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, particularly refrigeration systems, is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Compliance with OSHA, FCC, FAA, and EPA Standards is mandatory.

• Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend service calls is required.

• Extensive daily travel in an independent work environment is expected.

• Occasional overnight stays are necessary.

• Must be able to drive to remote work sites as required.

• Capability to work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures.

• Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.

• Residency within 60 miles of Bridgeport, Connecticut is required.
