This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide efficient, timely, and effective facility services to various clients within a designated geographic area.
• Travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to service commercial properties.
• Conduct preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and service commercial HVAC systems.
• Evaluate equipment data and offer recommendations based on analysis.
• Comprehend control operations and sequences for commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform minor tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and other maintenance activities.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks and services on package and split-unit HVAC systems.
• Repair steam and hot-water boiler systems and troubleshoot airflow and ducting problems.
• Safely handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and system failures in boilers and HVAC systems.
• Complete work orders and document services using mobile devices.
• Generate and submit service reports, quality inspection images, and documentation.
• Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase-card logs.
• Acquire materials and supplies necessary for completing tasks.
• Foster customer satisfaction and maintain communication with clients and internal support teams.
• Participate in safety and compliance training and attend weekly safety meetings.
• Provide estimates for larger projects and services as required.
• Conduct service and asset inspections.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
• High school diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.), or Specialty Floor Care is preferred.
• Possession of a certified 2-year HVAC technical certificate or a state-approved HVAC license.
• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Experience with Industrial/commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Must hold applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
• An EPA Universal Refrigeration License is required.
• Capability to read and understand safety policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in both individual and small group settings.
• Competence in using handheld devices and business systems or document management software, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Adherence to relevant codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Knowledge of and compliance with OSHA standards and Company safety policies.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Daily local travel between properties is expected.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Required to operate a company vehicle daily.
