This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Develop and enhance intricate operational sequences to boost HVAC energy efficiency.
• Evaluate current building automation systems for optimal product selection.
• Perform field assessments of equipment and automation system capabilities.
• Establish room ventilation schedules that comply with applicable code requirements.
• Provide guidance to design teams regarding design alternatives, equipment selections, and pricing considerations.
• Create submittal packages and parts lists for control systems.
• Oversee onsite direction for controls and low-voltage subcontractors.
• Initiate control systems, including trend analysis, graphics, and programming.
• Program advanced sequences for critical infrastructure, such as central plants.
• Lead programming and implementation efforts for controls.
• Ensure the completion of pre-functional checklists.
• Diagnose control installation issues and equipment failures.
• Deliver construction administration, document progress, and update design documents.
• Assist in commissioning and complete necessary controls commissioning documentation.
• Collaborate with other divisions to achieve desired controls outcomes.
• Aid in the preparation of technical reports and related documents.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff members.
• Uphold the company’s mission, values, and commitment to owner advocacy.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.
• Experience with building automation systems such as JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or similar.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic planning capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing various ongoing projects in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel 50% to job sites or office locations.
• Ability to work in diverse physical and environmental conditions.
• Competence in operating machinery, power tools, and motor vehicles.
• Capacity to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
