HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Maintain electricity switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV

• Investigate system alarms and provide fault response

• Support the delivery of projects

• Follow up on planned and corrective maintenance tasks

• Supervise engineering work onsite

• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects

• Travel extensively to operational sites across the UK and occasionally abroad

• Work remotely from home or from Statkraft’s UK office locations when site attendance is not necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification

• Relevant experience in the energy sector

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, ideally involving LV and HV plant maintenance

• Previous SAP Authorisation is a plus

• Strong understanding of O&M works processes

• High standard of HSE awareness

• Knowledge of power generation HV networks

• Familiarity with electrical testing and analysis

• Understanding of commissioning processes

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Right to work in the UK

• Clean driving licence

• Must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation
