HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance activities related to electricity switchgear and plant systems, extending to 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and provide fault diagnosis.

• Assist in the execution of project deliveries.

• Monitor the implementation of scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks.

• Oversee engineering tasks on-site.

• Evaluate technical requirements for current projects.

• Undertake significant travel across the UK and occasionally internationally.

• Work remotely from home or one of Statkraft’s UK office locations when site presence is not essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience within the energy sector.

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, particularly with LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Previous SAP Authorization is a plus.

• Strong understanding of O&M work processes.

• High level of HSE awareness.

• Proficient in power generation HV networks, electrical testing/analysis, commissioning, and MS Office applications.

• Applicants must possess the right permit to work in the UK.

• A clean driving license is required.

• Must qualify for security clearance and authorization.
