HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance of electricity switchgear and plant systems up to 400kV.

• Investigate system alarms and respond to faults effectively.

• Assist in the execution of various projects.

• Monitor the completion of both planned and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical needs for ongoing projects.

• Travel frequently within the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft’s UK office locations when site visits are not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.

• Relevant experience within the energy industry.

• Proven experience with the electrical network, particularly in LV and HV plant maintenance.

• A solid understanding of operations and maintenance (O&M) processes.

• High standards of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) awareness.

• Knowledgeable in high voltage (HV) networks for power generation.

• Familiarity with electrical testing and analysis.

• Understanding of commissioning processes.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Applicants must possess the appropriate permit to work in the UK.

• A clean driving license is required.

• The candidate must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.
