HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the upkeep and maintenance of electricity switchgear and plant systems up to and including 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and deliver fault response services.

• Assist in the execution of project delivery.

• Monitor the implementation of planned and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical needs for ongoing projects.

• Travel extensively to various operational sites throughout the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Work remotely from home or from Statkraft UK office locations when site presence is not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience within the energy sector.

• Proven experience in working with the electrical network, particularly in the maintenance of LV and HV plant.

• Prior SAP Authorization is a plus.

• Solid understanding of O&M work processes.

• High standard of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) awareness.

• Knowledge of high voltage (HV) networks for power generation.

• Familiarity with electrical testing and analysis procedures.

• Understanding of commissioning processes.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Must qualify for security clearance and authorization.
