HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance of electricity switchgear and plant systems up to 400kV.

• Undergo training and development to attain authorization for operations up to 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and execute fault response measures.

• Assist in the execution of projects.

• Monitor planned and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering operations on-site.

• Evaluate technical demands for ongoing projects.

• Travel frequently to various operational locations across the UK and occasionally abroad.

• Work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft's UK office locations when site presence is not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Relevant experience in the energy sector.

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, particularly with LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Previous SAP Authorization would be beneficial.

• Solid understanding of O&M work processes.

• High level of HSE awareness.

• Knowledge of high-voltage networks in power generation.

• Familiarity with electrical testing and analysis.

• Understanding of commissioning processes.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally internationally.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.
