HV Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in the maintenance of electrical switchgear and plant systems up to and including 400kV.

• Analyze system alarms and provide prompt fault response.

• Assist in the execution of projects.

• Monitor the implementation of scheduled and corrective maintenance activities.

• Oversee engineering tasks conducted onsite.

• Evaluate technical needs for ongoing projects.

• Travel extensively within the UK and occasionally internationally.

• Work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft’s UK office locations when site presence is not necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

• Relevant experience within the energy sector.

• Proven experience working on the electrical network, preferably with LV and HV plant maintenance.

• Prior SAP Authorisation is a plus.

• Strong understanding of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) processes.

• High level of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) awareness.

• Familiarity with power generation high voltage (HV) networks.

• Knowledge of electrical testing and analysis.

• Experience with commissioning processes.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Valid permit to work in the UK.

• Clean driving license.

• Eligibility for security clearance and authorization.
