This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
β’ Act as the regional expert for employee lifecycle events and HR functions in Brazil, providing support across other LATAM markets.
β’ Offer guidance to prospective and current clients expanding into Brazil and LATAM regarding local market standards, benefits, payroll, and labor compliance.
β’ Develop and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, accountants, and external HR/legal consultants.
β’ Keep updated country-specific knowledge bases and Standard Operating Procedures for regional compliance.
β’ Address ongoing client issues and inquiries with the necessary team assistance.
β’ Manage customer and professional data within online portals and vendor platforms.
β’ Oversee end-to-end compliance projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
β’ Provide primary HR support throughout the onboarding process, mid-cycle activities, and offboarding.
β’ Manage sensitive employee relations, complex terminations, and involuntary offboardings in line with local labor laws.
β’ Incorporate product features and AI tools to automate tasks and enhance HR workflows.
β’ Tackle complex HR challenges and drive process improvements.
β’ Lead and assist in local and global compliance initiatives to enhance regional products and service delivery.
β’ Bachelorβs degree (BS/BA) or higher in Human Resources, International Business, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner.
β’ Extensive, practical knowledge of Brazilian labor laws, HR practices, and employment regulations.
β’ Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
β’ Native or fluent in Portuguese.
β’ Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain self-regulation in a fast-paced, matrixed, remote environment.
β’ Experience engaging with global clients and colleagues, with an understanding of diverse cultural norms and communication styles.
β’ Capacity to navigate ambiguity, resolve complex challenges, and adhere to local regulations.
β’ Excellent communication, negotiation, emotional intelligence, organizational, and customer service skills.
β’ Preferred: experience in HR across other Latin American countries and a willingness to explore new markets.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with HRIS, ticketing systems such as Zendesk and Jira, collaboration tools including Slack, Zoom, and SharePoint, and AI productivity tools.
