πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries throughout the employee lifecycle.

β€’ Collaborate with Operations to facilitate effective onboarding of new GEO employees.

β€’ Assist in the execution of GEO HR processes, which include handbooks, policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal standards.

β€’ Create and manage employment contracts for new hires, departures, contract extensions, and employment transfers.

β€’ Oversee complex HR projects and issues concerning workers and clients, including performance management, terminations, and employment transitions.

β€’ Provide counsel to clients regarding career advancement, promotions, salary evaluations, and recommendations.

β€’ Handle employee offboarding processes, encompassing both voluntary and involuntary separations and retirements.

β€’ Offer guidance and support to management regarding HR responsibilities.

β€’ Implement and revise HR policies, procedures, and working conditions, ensuring effective communication and compliance.

β€’ Safeguard employee personal data in accordance with local regulations.

β€’ Engage in projects as assigned by the direct line manager.

β€’ Identify process deficiencies and propose or enact changes to reduce risk.

β€’ Keep the GEO Team and line management informed on employment law updates.

β€’ Provide advice and assistance to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and line management.

β€’ Collaborate with benefit providers to offer legally compliant benefit packages and deliver updates on benefit costs.

β€’ Manage monthly payroll for all employees in conjunction with the local payroll team, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline.

β€’ At least three (3) years of experience as a generalist in a Human Resources capacity, preferably within an international organization.

β€’ Familiarity with laws and regulations relevant to the areas of responsibility.

β€’ Proven experience in managing employment terminations is crucial.

β€’ Background in advising on complex employment relations matters.

β€’ Payroll experience is advantageous.

β€’ Proficient spoken and written communication skills in Spanish (essential).

β€’ Proficient spoken and written communication skills in English (essential).
