This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
β’ Assist with recruitment, training, new hire onboarding, and orientation processes, encompassing HR policies and benefits.
β’ Collaborate with the HR team on strategic initiatives, including reporting, data entry, people data analysis, and process improvement efforts.
β’ Aid in compliance activities by upholding confidential records and supporting audits as required.
β’ Contribute to employee engagement programs and special events that enhance workplace culture.
β’ Oversee communications for employees and managers while addressing routine HR-related inquiries.
β’ Facilitate daily HR operations and participate in projects aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
β’ Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned.
β’ Collaborate with remote staff and contractors to align IEEFA culture with initiatives that promote an inclusive and engaged global team.
β’ Work together with international teams, occasionally during early morning or late evening hours.
β’ Actively pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field (senior or graduate level); recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
β’ Exhibits a high level of energy, proactive initiative, and eagerness to learn.
β’ Highly organized with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.

β’ Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite.
β’ Must be capable of working for extended periods at a computer; this may involve repetitive motions, eyestrain, and strain on the back and neck.
β’ Candidates must reside in the United States, preferably in the Appalachian region.
