Human Resources Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and resolve intricate employee relations matters.

• Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and implement necessary actions.

• Provide coaching, support, and guidance to both managers and employees.

• Assist with requests for workplace accommodations.

• Coordinate pay transparency inquiries for the Americas region.

• Communicate with managers to align on pay transparency initiatives.

• Collaborate with global teams to advocate for HR changes and continuous improvement.

• Explore, develop, and execute automation projects.

• Manage and resolve ServiceNow cases in accordance with service-level agreements.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of Workday HRIS functions.

• Assume independent responsibility for tasks within the assigned scope.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in Human Resources within a multi-state framework with a strong focus on employee relations.

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or a similar certification is highly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of employment practices, policies, procedures, and pertinent state and federal employment laws.

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

• Dedication to providing exceptional, inclusive service to employees and managers.

• Strong proactive and collaborative skills across cross-cultural and virtual settings.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing system.

• Knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Workday.

• Experience with PowerBI reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Occasional travel of less than 5% may be necessary.
