This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the initial contact for standard HR inquiries from employees and escalate issues as necessary.
β’ Resolve routine HR issues independently following established procedures.
β’ Oversee HR service requests and administrative processes from initiation to completion.
β’ Manage I-9 and employment verification procedures.
β’ Process and audit HRIS transactions, including changes by managers, terminations of non-employees, and modifications to employee data.
β’ Coordinate separation processes, which include communications, exit surveys, documentation, and follow-up actions.
β’ Handle tuition reimbursement requests and forward approved items to payroll.
β’ Provide administrative assistance for ADA accommodation requests, leaves of absence/FMLA, and disability claims.
β’ Facilitate benefits administration via the HR ticketing system, manage inquiries, support enrollment, and provide insurance verification letters.
β’ Keep job descriptions, approved templates, and up-to-date document versions organized.
β’ Track outstanding requests and workflows, following up with employees, managers, and HR partners as needed.
β’ Maintain HR records, trackers, and documentation, and perform regular audits.
β’ Prepare routine and ad hoc HR reports, audits, and data files.
β’ Assist with workforce reporting and HR metrics analysis.
β’ Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners.
β’ Identify gaps in workflows and opportunities for process improvements.
β’ Aid in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and standardized resources.
β’ Associateβs degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
β’ Over 1 year of experience in HR operations, employee services, benefits administration, or a similar role.
β’ Understanding of fundamental HR terminology, policies, and processes.
β’ High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including Pivot Tables/Dashboards), Word, Outlook, and Teams.
β’ Proven ability to organize data analytics and prepare related reports.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to independently manage, prioritize, and complete multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks within set deadlines.
β’ Strong sense of ownership and follow-through, including proactively identifying pending work, communicating updates and obstacles, and driving requests to resolution.
β’ Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality, including ensuring work is accurate, complete, and consistent.
β’ Capability to reliably execute recurring workflows while effectively responding to shifting priorities and urgent requests.
β’ Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leave programs is preferred.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in human resources, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
β’ Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is advantageous.
β’ Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with ticket/case management platforms is a plus.
β’ Prior experience in a high-volume HR department is preferred.
