This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
β’ Provide operational and administrative support to the human resources department.
β’ Execute daily HR functions and maintain records, forms, and documents related to human resources.
β’ Assist in recruitment activities, including job descriptions, requisitions, scheduling interviews, and onboarding logistics.
β’ Maintain templates, guides, forms, and HRIS materials for talent development and management.
β’ Utilize salary benchmarking tools and consolidate salary data.
β’ Add and remove employees from HRIS, training, timekeeping, and expense systems.
β’ Audit and maintain records of salaries, benefit deductions, earning codes, and 401k contributions.
β’ Prepare reports related to benefits, compensation, payroll, and compliance.
β’ Serve as a payroll backup and process payroll as necessary.
β’ Coordinate and facilitate new-hire onboarding training sessions.
β’ Manage SharePoint, training systems, UKG Ready Learning Center, OpenSesame, and HRIS content.
β’ Conduct exit interviews and meetings, administer surveys, and assist with performance evaluations.
β’ Administer DiSC assessments and training programs.
β’ Address Tier 1 employee support inquiries and assist with leave programs.
β’ Organize engagement activities, communications, employee recognition events, and staff surveys.
β’ Oversee wellness initiatives, training and development, and HR communication channels.
β’ Maintain staff webpages and organizational charts.
β’ Prepare compliance reports such as VETS 4212, EEO-1, and Bureau of Labor Statistics reports.
β’ Research state employment laws, registration, taxation, and employer compliance requirements.
β’ Conduct monthly debarment checks.
β’ Manage the HR email inbox and ensure timely responses.
β’ Associateβs degree in business administration, psychology, or a closely related field.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a human resources department.
β’ Proficient and efficient in using the Office 365 suite of products.
β’ Possess excellent emotional intelligence skills for managing confidential information.
β’ Demonstrate professional verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
β’ Show initiative in problem-solving by researching issues and understanding systems and documentation thoroughly.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in human resources, business administration, labor relations, or a related field is preferred.
β’ An industry credential is beneficial but not mandatory.
β’ Previous experience with UKG Ready or Pro is preferred.
β’ Interest in utilizing HRIS systems to automate and optimize processes and workflows.
