This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support employee communication, address enrollment inquiries, manage documentation, and follow up during the open enrollment period.
• Assist employees with leave of absence processes, keep track of documentation and deadlines, maintain records, and collaborate with HR, payroll, managers, and external partners for updates.
• Evaluate and prioritize requests in the HR Benefits inbox, respond to routine inquiries, direct issues appropriately, and ensure resolution.
• Aid employees in navigating benefit enrollment, eligibility criteria, qualifying life events, and various benefit programs such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and others.
• Keep employee benefit information up to date and assist payroll with questions and discrepancies related to benefit deductions.
• Collaborate with the benefits team, insurance brokers, carriers, and other partners to address administrative challenges.
• Promote wellness initiatives, including annual wellness screenings, and disseminate updates and resources related to benefits.
• Contribute to benefits reporting, renewal documentation, process administration, and other relevant HR projects.
• Safeguard confidential employee information and adhere to established procedures and applicable regulations.
• Work closely with the HR Benefits Partner and leadership, managing routine processes and escalating complex inquiries as necessary.
• Proven experience in HR administration, benefits support, leave coordination, or a similar employee-support position.
• Understanding of employee benefits enrollment and related administrative processes.
• Preferred experience with leave-of-absence management; transferable HR experience with a demonstrated capacity to learn new processes will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to assisting employees in understanding their next steps.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectively.
• Good judgment, including the ability to resolve issues independently or seek guidance when necessary.
• Experience with maintaining confidential records and using HRIS or benefits management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate in a remote environment, and see tasks through to completion.
• Prior HR experience is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills are essential!
