This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assist with open enrollment by managing employee communications, responding to enrollment inquiries, providing documentation, and conducting follow-ups.
β’ Oversee leaves of absence, ensuring proper documentation, adherence to deadlines, maintenance of records, and collaboration with HR, payroll, managers, and external partners.
β’ Administer and prioritize the HR Benefits email inbox.
β’ Address routine benefits inquiries, direct issues appropriately, and ensure resolution.
β’ Guide employees through the processes of benefit enrollment, eligibility, qualifying life events, and various benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and more.
β’ Ensure accurate maintenance of employee benefit information while assisting payroll with questions and discrepancies regarding benefit deductions.
β’ Collaborate with the benefits team, insurance brokers, carriers, and other stakeholders to address administrative challenges.
β’ Promote wellness initiatives, such as annual wellness screenings.
β’ Disseminate updates and resources related to benefits.
β’ Support benefits reporting, renewal processes, documentation of procedures, and other HR administrative tasks.
β’ Safeguard confidential employee information and adhere to established protocols and relevant regulations.
β’ Collaborate closely with the HR Benefits Partner and leadership, managing routine processes and escalating complex inquiries as necessary.
β’ Proven experience in HR administration, benefits support, leave coordination, or a similar employee-support role.
β’ Knowledge of employee benefits enrollment and administrative procedures.
β’ Preferred experience with leaves of absence; however, transferable HR experience and a demonstrated ability to learn new processes will be considered.
β’ Exceptional communication skills, characterized by clarity and approachability, with a dedication to assisting employees in understanding their next steps.
β’ Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple requests and deadlines effectively.
β’ Sound judgment, including the ability to independently resolve issues and recognize when to seek assistance.
β’ Experience in maintaining confidential records and working with HRIS or benefits management systems.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
β’ Capability to work autonomously, collaborate remotely, and see tasks through to completion.
β’ Prior HR experience is preferred.
β’ High-level customer service skills are essential.
